IAC Overview

The Insurance Advisory Committee (IAC) serves as a vital link between EIM’s leadership, Board of Directors, and its Member companies. Comprised of risk management professionals from across EIM’s diverse membership, the IAC provides insight and guidance on emerging industry risks, coverage issues, and strategic initiatives. Through collaboration and open dialogue, the IAC ensures that EIM remains responsive to Member needs and aligned with the dynamic energy industry landscape.

Key objectives of the IAC include:

Act as a liaison between the Board and Member Risk Managers
Conduct special assignments from the Board or staff regarding emerging industry risk management concerns
Be a resource for staff, referencing coverage issues
Maintain a core group within the IAC that is familiar with the history of EIM and the evolution of insurance policy coverages and exclusions
